Jordi Jacas Biendicho

Dr Jordi Jacas obtained his PhD in Materials at Sheffield University, working on the electrochemical characterisation of Li-ion batteries. He is a senior researcher at the Catalonia Institute for Energy Research (IREC) battery section and the BATTECH joint research unit and the coordinator of the COBRA project devoted to the fabrication of next-generation Co-Free Li-ion batteries for EVs. His research aims to develop new sustainable battery components for next-generation batteries.
