After a highly successful pilot with the Stuttgart S-Bahn, in June 2023 Brompton and Deutsche Bahn launched their €41 per month subscription package nationwide. The 12-month subscription provides a foldable bike that can be taken free of charge onto trains and buses without the purchase of a second ticket, as well as insurance and a comprehensive service check after six months. Deutsche Bahn introduced the scheme as a way of promoting the combination of bicycles and trains.
